In the News
Evan Goldman of Goldman Davis Krumholz & Dillon has filed two suits against the Paterson school district, which is predominantly Black and Hispanic, on behalf of white male educators who claim they were repeatedly denied promotions based on their race. He is preparing to file a third suit against the same district, also on behalf of a white male educator who was denied promotions.
Goldman said Passaic County juries tend to be a mix of affluent suburbanites and minorities from Passaic and Paterson, and he’s not sure how they might regard his clients.
“You never know who’s going to be sitting on a jury, and what they’re going to think about this. Yes, it’s a reverse discrimination case, and I understand those are a little bit more difficult,” he said. “But these three individuals are so well-qualified for positions that they have been seeking, that for them not even to get a legitimate shot makes no sense.”
I had a concise and impressive consultation with Mr. Goldman. I went back to him after a referral didn’t work out. Mr. Goldman is professional, diligent and sincere. He possesses excellent knowledge of broad field of laws and has deep insight on legal matters. He took my case in a challenged situation, quickly conducted additional legal research and well argued existing law and new law, thorough and firm. Because of his hard working, a lost case was successfully turned around in a great hand of Mr. Goldman.
